CUSTOM DESIGN GALLERYHow It Works
Step 1. Preliminary Design Meeting
We love working with our customers on one-of-a-kind design projects. You will work directly with a Custom Design Consultant to discuss your jewelry ideas either in person or via email and phone. It’s helpful if you come to us with pictures of anything that inspires your design idea: a picture of a ring you’ve seen online, or even a photo of a fabric pattern or architecture that you like. If you don’t have a vision in mind, we will work diligently to create the perfect one.
Step 2. Design & Stone Sourcing
You and our Custom Design Consultant will discuss details and specifics of the desired design.
We will work together to refine the design using images or design sketches. Stone sourcing requires a $500 deposit, which goes towards the final cost of the ring. You will also purchase your significant stones outright. We will work with your heirloom stones, and for those we charge a $500 fee.
Step 3. Rendering & Approval
Once you have decided upon a design, we render a 3-D CAD design to be sure it meets your 3-D vision. CAD designs require a $200 design deposit, which goes towards the final cost of the ring. If at any time you are unhappy with the design, you will be responsible only for the phases of the design that have been completed.
Step 4. Jewelry Production
Once the final design meets your approval, the jewelry then goes into production and can be brought to life. All payments made during the initial design phases will go toward the final price, and at least half of the final fee must be paid to start jewelry production. In production your jewelry is cast, set, polished, and finished with all the details you designed. The normal timeframe for creating custom jewelry is about 4-8 weeks from start to finish. Some designs can be rushed in a shorter time period for a fee. All Eliza Page custom jewelry comes with a complementary appraisal for insurance replacement, and our recommendation for third-party jewelry insurance so you are always covered.
What You Should Know
Custom Designs begin at $3500 exclusive of materials (metal, stones). This price includes time with our Custom Design Consultant, back and forth on designs, production of drawings, rendering of models, production, casting, gemstone setting, polishing, and hand-finishing each piece.
Custom designs are final sale and non-refundable. From start to finish, the entire process should take 4-8 weeks, subject to the specifications and/or changes in design. If you have a special deadline, depending on the design, we will do our best to complete your project more quickly for a rush fee.
