Since she was a child, Kendra always loved fashion. Originally born outside of Chicago, at the age of 17 Kendra moved to Texas and eventually settled in Austin.
Growing up she always sought outlets for her creative inspirations including writing, acting, and sketching designs of clothing and accessories.
After running a boutique for five years followed by three years in advertising, 28 year old Kendra started designing her own line of jewelry.
Following the birth of her son she started turning these creative energies into a business, and in the fall of 2002 launched Kendra Scott Design.
What started out as a hobby turned into a selling frenzy, as local boutiques bought up everything sold. Kendra's lives and works here in Austin, Texas. Kendra's designs have been featured in many magazines including Lucky, Elle, Glamour, In Style, and Modern Bride.
